WRX Trade Paint Review and Guide

Posted by Mike Gregory

WRX Trade Paint is relatively new to the UK market but certainly causes a little peek. They are aimed exclusively at the professional decorator and deliver products of the highest quality. You may pay more for WRX than standard commercial colors, but it’s still cheaper than many of the designer brands out there. You can purchase this product directly from WRC by clicking here or TopDec Decorating Consumables by clicking here. This is my WRX Trade Paint review and guide. I hope you find it useful.

WRX Trade Matt wall paint

This is an exceptionally durable matte emulsion designed for use on walls and ceilings. Only available in white it is a dream to work with. You will find that the WRX wall paint just drains off the brush and roller, leaving a flawless finish. This product has two disadvantages. The first is that the paint can pull on itself, so you have to cut and roll one wall at a time. The second is the drying time between coats is 4-6 hours.

This is a small price to pay. In contrast to other durable matt emulsions in white, the opacity of the wall paint WRX Trade is impressive. The paint is also high in fungicide, which means it will last in rooms with a lot of condensation.

WRX Trade ceiling paint

The ceiling color WRX Trade, also only available in white, is a very flat mat with almost no sheen. This makes it fantastic for light sensitive blankets. Ease of use isn’t the best, but overall I have to say that this is one of the best ceiling colors out there. The opacity is unreal and the finish is beautiful !! Another plus is that the paint is moisture resistant so you can use it in a kitchen or even some bathrooms. I can’t recommend this color enough !!
