Vaccination walk-in appointments for Lincolnshire over 50s

People in Lincolnshire who are over 50 and have not yet received their first Covid vaccination will have the opportunity to visit a walk-in clinic tomorrow (Thursday).

The clinic will take place tomorrow, Thursday, April 8, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the Lincolnshire Showground Large Vaccination Center in Lincoln without making a pre-booked appointment.

Terry Vine, Clinical and Operations Director of the Lincolnshire Large Vaccination Center said, “We have vaccinated thousands of people over 50 across the county and we really want to make sure that anyone over 50 who has not been vaccinated for the first time has the Have the opportunity to do so. For this reason, we will hold the accessible appointments tomorrow.

“If you would like to have your vaccination, please remember to bring your NHS number (which you can find online here).”

The accessible appointments do not have to be booked in advance.

If you choose to attend, please be aware that there is a separate GP vaccination service that is also operated from the same location at the Lincolnshire Showground. So if asked when you arrive, please indicate that you are on a walk-in appointment on the NHS site.

If you are under 50 and think you might be eligible for a vaccination (i.e., as a caregiver or someone with underlying health conditions) then book online here or by calling 119.

People under 50 who are not currently eligible will not be vaccinated.
