The places you can pick up a free rapid Covid-19 test in North East Lincolnshire

Everyone in North East Lincolnshirel now has access to free, rapid Covid-19 testing.

The move to offer testing to everyone in the UK twice a week was announced by the government earlier this week.

The tests, which can be done at various test sites across the county or collected and performed at home, can detect the virus in people who show no symptoms. About one in three people who have the virus is asymptomatic.

Side flow tests give a result within about 30 minutes. The tests were critical in detecting positive cases early and allowing self-isolation and reducing the spread of the virus.
