Squid wash up on Cleethorpes beach

Countless cuttlefish have washed up on Cleethorpes Beach.

Bruce Martin spotted the creatures on a walk this morning and took these incredible pictures.

He told Grimsby Live, “I was walking my dog ​​by the ocean this morning when I ran into them.

“I was really surprised to see you in Cleethorpes.”

He had only discovered a starfish in the sand yesterday.

Located at the end of the Fitties Beach, the squid are not the first marine animals to appear on dry land at the resort in recent months.

A starfish on Cleethorpes Beach

Besides some seals, we also had an octopus nicknamed Kurly the Kracken and a porpoise.

Cleethorpes is a place of particular scientific interest. For this reason, dogs are banned from the main beach between Wonderland and the leisure center until September 30th to protect wildlife.
