Police called after ‘large’ burglary at Lincolnshire home

Police have opened an investigation into a house in Lincolnshire in the middle of the day.

Between noon and 3 p.m. on April 19, at least one person broke into a house on Walkerith Road, Morton.

Once inside, they found a large amount of jewelry that had been stolen from one of the rooms.

It is not clear how many people were involved.

However, the police have started an investigation and two weeks later are asking witnesses to come forward.

The troop said: “We would like to hear from anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area at this point, or from anyone with information that could aid the investigation.

“Even if thrift stores in the area suddenly bought a large amount of jewelry, or if they were offered for sale, we’d love to hear from you.”
