Man found injured in street after assault in Lincolnshire town

A man with facial injuries was found in Spalding.

Police were called to Winsover Road just after 11 p.m. on Saturday, June 12, after a man was reportedly injured in the area.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: “A man aged 20 was found with facial injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

“His condition is not life threatening.

“The investigation into how the victim was injured is ongoing.

“The attack is believed to have taken place between 10.30pm and 10.45pm at the intersection of St. John’s Road and Winsover Road.

“If you witnessed this incident or were in the area at the time and have dashcam footage, we would love to hear from you.”
